OUR
PROCESS

The research and analysis we carry out at every stage is rigorous. Not only do we review your current expenditure, forecast your needs, and achieve savings, we also work with you on an ongoing basis to hold your freight providers accountable and honest.

Step 1

Audit

The first step is all about getting to know your current freight expenditure and service levels. We do this by inputting your freight invoice data into our software and analysing the findings. In doing this, we are looking at the unique postcode ranges each transporter uses (yep, they use company uses different postcode ranges for capital cities, major ports and regional zones!); cubic conversion and your Cube to Deadweight Ratio; the impact of rate cards; transit times; and volume discount levels.

Rest assured that your data is safe with us. We will happily sign non-disclosure agreements to further guarantee company information.

Step 1

Step 2

Benchmark Appraisal

Once we know your current position, we can accurately forecast the areas for improvement and the prices that we firmly believe we can achieve for your business by negotiating with transport companies. We don’t ask freight companies their rates; we give them our expectations for them to match.

Step 2

Step 3

Tender Process

Based on our audit and forecasting, we put together a tender document that tells freight companies what our client is willing to pay and the service levels they expect to receive. We know that freight companies can achieve the rates we propose, so we always go into negotiations confidently. We also provide a full report of the tender process stage including our recommendations so you can make an informed and confident decision moving forward.

Step 3

Step 4

Implementation

Now it’s time to rollout the changes, but you don’t need to worry about a thing – we’ll be there to ensure the changes happen seamlessly and without you, your team or your customers noticing anything (except for the improved service of course)! We’ll integrate the required software with your current systems and provide full freight cost management and control training to your team.

Step 4

Step 5

Ongoing Support

It’s one thing to make initial savings, but it’s another to hold your transport providers accountable to ensure costs are kept low and service level agreements are upheld. We can often fix transport company rates for a 12, 24 or 36 month basis, dependant on negotiations.

Regardless of the support level you choose, we recommend reviewing your rates every three years as freight companies, because in most instances, your prices can incrementally increase over this period as your own business grows.

Step 5
HOW MUCH
DOES IT COST?

We’re here to provide you with control over transport companies rates and services which result in savings and service improvements.

We act as your business partner focussed on financial benefit to your company and its customers. We are so confident with our process and history of performance and results that we will actually guarantee and specify to you a minimum savings that will be met, otherwise we wont charge for our service and time.

If you would like to proceed we offer a one-off fee with flexible payment options of 12, 24 or 36 months.

Each month we can provide a report that details your proof of savings by outlining your freight usage and your current expenditure compared with your previous costs. For more information, contact us for a free non-obligational consultation.
